Michael DaMour is an American, graduated in English Language and Literature, with minors in French and Spanish. Throughout his professional career, Michael has lived and worked on and off in Brazil and speaks Portuguese fluently. Besides being an entrepreneur and consultant, Michael has vast experience in the teaching of English both in Brazil and the United States. Michael is co-founder of GloBiz Talk and hosts English Roundtables along with his wife, Ruth DaMour.
Ruth Fernandes DaMour is Brazilian, graduated in English Language and Literature and started her professional career teaching English at several language schools in São Paulo. Ruth has dual citizenship – Brazil and the United States. She lived and worked in the United States for nearly 25 years, acquiring a wide range of experience in Training and Development. Ruth is co-founder of GloBiz Talk and hosts English Roundtables along with her husband, Michael DaMour.
Yes! We have groups with Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced speakers of English. If you are fluent but need to improve your conversation skills, English Roundtables are definitely for you!
Absolutely! We do not mix groups of students and teachers. If you are an ESL Teacher, you are going to be in a Roundtable with Teachers only!
We are currently creating groups for ESL Teachers. If you would like to join, we ask you to please send us a message with days and times you would be available. Depending on your availability, we might be able to include you in a group right away, but sometimes we might have to add to our Waiting List.
